Junglen i Delta De Orinoco

Med kajakker og godt humør indtog vi junglen og så frem til en 9 dags lang rejse ind i den grønne plet af Venezuela der hedder Delta de Orinoco. Her har Warao Indianerfolket hjemme og på trods af stor udvikling siden de gik rundt i ingenting og pustede deres føde ned med pusterør, lever de stadig overskyggende indianer agtigt, hvis man kan beskrive det sådan….

Junglen har med sine skiftende størrelse floder alt fra meget bredder til små intime strejkninger. Her møder vi dog ikke så mange dyr set i fohold til Los Llanos, men vi fik kigget brøleaber (de små røde), Capotino aber (små sorte), kæmpe oddere, flodsvin og et hav af fugle (bl.a. Papegøjer og Tucaner) og så storslået natur i stride strømme!

Vi fik mulighed for at have en kæmpe Tarantel gående på os og det var der en del der følte for :)

Personligt fik jeg sat bæstet i hovedet, hvor den fik lov til at boltre sig i det lyse hår og i ansigtet, mens man kunne fornemme dens lange brune hår, som dækkede hele edderkoppens korpus. Efter lidt tid med edderkoppen i ansigtet indtog en fed fornemmelse sig, og frygten skiftede helt og aldeles til facination af det smukke dyr, som nok helst så sig mænge i de palmeblade, hvor den egentlig høre til.
