Snorkletur ved Chichiriviche

Vi var tirsdag, ude på snorklettur ved Chichiriviche på én af de mange smukke ø’er i det caribiske hav. Hovedformålet med turen, var at vi skulle snorkle i det smukke koral hav. Vi havde i løbet af ugen “styrtet” rundt for at finde snorkle udstyr til turen, hvilket var pænt svært, bla. pga. vores manglende spansk kundeskaber.
Men vi fik udstyret i orden, og blev via en meget dramatisk sejltur (for mig virkede det som at sejle igennem ti meter høje bølger og at den Lille jolle, som vi sejlede i, ville kæntre, hver eneste sekund) tranporteret ud til til den meget smukke og idyliske ø, hvor vi skulle udforske verden under vandet.
Vi blev først instrueret af Rene (Rains), som er en af vores guider, i hvordan man skulle begærde sig, når man snorklede. Derefter blev sendt afsted til et område med en masse koraler og flotte store fisk i alle udformninger. En menget fantastisk oplevelse for os, som aldrig prøvet, at udforske verden under havet, med klimaet og omgivelserne taget i betragtning…
Vi alle er glade og tilfredse, og er faldet godt til i Campen, men glæder os til komme ud og for alvor, at opleve andre flotte områder af Venezuela. Det skal vi så på fredag, hvor vi drager afsted til Los Llanos, som er et område med mange sletter, og hvor vi både kan møde anaconda’er og krokodiller..
