Om turen til Gran Sabana – Roraima Bjerget
Så fik vi muligheden for at bestige vores første bjerg og det var sådan set hva’ turen her efter 24 timers køretur handlede om. Vi kom gennem mindre indianer byer så hvordan deres liv er og badede i en bunke helt fantastiske vandfald. Vi fik prøvet vores vandresko og fik en meget lille forsmag på hvordan de næste 7 dage op og ned af Bjerget Roraima ville udfordre os 
Efter afgang gik vi nogenlunde smertefrit op af bjerget og tilbagelagte ca. 30 km i temmelig hårdt miljø. Super smukt men også med det overskud, som de mænd Juncker mener vi er – og bør være 
På bjerget mødte vi huler under klipperne og undersøgte dette helt månelandskabsagtige miljø, som menes at være de ældste bjerge i verden. Helt fantastisk landskab og ikke mindst udsigt! – Tjek billederne fra Roraima turen nu!
Men…
Turen ned var godt nok DET hårdeste undertegnede har vaeret udsat for. Godt nok gik det nogenlunde efter 1 times lodret til tider klatretur ned af bjerget, men så stod Daniels lårmusklerne sådan set også fra. De næste 8 kilometer måtte foregå i aflåst lårbensmuskelstilling (andre kalder det Pinocio Stil) og det giver nok også det bedste billede - Hmmmm De sportstøser vi har med, ku nemt overhaele mig og de fik sig ivertfald et godt grin!
